About the author

Stacy Chipowsky Camillo is a passionate new voice in children's literature, bringing over three decades of invaluable experience as an early childhood educator to her stories. Having witnessed the boundless curiosity and vivid imaginations of countless young learners, she possesses a deep understanding of what truly captivates and connects with children through engaging stories. Her journey into children's books is a natural extension of a life dedicated to nurturing young minds.

As a mother of four, (and soon-to-be Grammie) Stacy finds endless inspiration in the everyday magic and joyful discovery of childhood, translating these moments into enchanting tales.

She can often be found capturing the world's beauty through the lens of her camera, scrapbooking those moments, transforming fabric through sewing and quilting, or expressing her imagination through crafting, drawing and art.

Her love for nature takes her from the majestic scenery of mountain hikes to the soothing shores of sandy beaches, always seeking new landscapes and experiences. She also finds immense joy and wonder in her visits to Disney World, a place where stories truly come to life.

These varied experiences, combined with her decades of working with young children, enrich her ability to craft stories that spark imagination, foster empathy, and encourage a love of learning in her young readers.

Her first book, A Grand Alphabet Adventure, is inspired by her real life experiences at her grandparents home.
